New to the member app?
Install NEFC on your phone
You do not need the Apple App Store or Google Play. NEFC can be added directly from your phone browser and will appear with your other app icons.
iPhone or iPad
Use Safari
- Open appforfencing.org in Safari. If the link opened inside email, Facebook, or another app, choose Open in Safari.
- Tap the Share button — the square with an upward arrow.
- Scroll down in the Share menu and tap Add to Home Screen.
- Leave the name as NEFC, then tap Add in the upper-right corner.
- Find the NEFC icon on your Home Screen and tap it to open the app.
Android
Chrome recommended
- Open appforfencing.org in Chrome. If it opened inside email or another app, choose Open in Chrome.
- Tap the ⋮ menu in the upper-right corner of Chrome.
- Choose Install app or Add to Home screen. The wording varies slightly by phone.
- Tap Install or Add when your phone asks for confirmation.
- Find the NEFC icon on your Home Screen or app launcher and tap it to open.
Once installed, NEFC opens in its own app window. Use the same member account whether you open it from the icon or from your browser. If the installed app ever fails to load but the site still works in Safari or Chrome, remove the home-screen app and add it again from your browser.
